Antioxidants

Oxygen an essential and vital to sustain life on earth, very active and it combines with organic and inorganic compounds in our body. During cellular respiration, some oxygen molecules are converted into free radicals which are called oxidizing agents. A very unstable one that tries to combine with other compounds which can be damaging to our own body. We need to obtain Antioxidants and avoid free radicals.

Must be avoided : 

• Saturated fats in our diet

• Stress

• Cigarette Smoking - Smoke (active and passive)

• Heavy metals such as Mercury (the silver line in thermometer), Cadmium (burning of fossil fuels such as coal or oil) and Lead (ceramics, paint, pipe, solders, gasoline, batteries and cosmetics)
